Reflexology

Reflexology at Dormy House

Put your feet up…

Reflexology works on the same principles as acupuncture, in that pressure on certain points of the feet stimulates a neural response, allowing energy to flow and healing to take place. The feet do have over 7,000 nerve endings after all! Some people swear by reflexology for helping with migraines, insomnia, respiratory conditions, hormonal imbalances or neck and back pain. For some it’s just a very relaxing foot massage.

One of our lovely and very experienced Therapists, Rachel, has brought her Reflexology expertise to House Spa. She began her career as a Modern Languages Teacher, working long hours and often on her feet most of the day she found that she benefited from a course of reflexology. This led to a change in career having had such an amazing experience and seeing real health benefits to the treatment.

Classic Reflexology

Select a bespoke aromatherapy blend of essential oils for a soothing, aromatic footbath to cleanse and sanitise the feet. From lemon to lavender, or bergamot to benzoin, our oils have been carefully chosen for their immune boosting and anti-virucidal properties.

Your therapist will then locate and massage specific acupressure points on your feet. The immune system, as well as the other eleven systems of your body will be re-energised and re-balanced. Based on holistic principles this ancient therapy springs from the same Chinese roots as acupuncture.

The treatment will clear energy pathways and correct any imbalances in your body than can cause stress and ill health. If it was good enough for the Ancient Chinese, it’s good enough for us!

The Dormy Reflexology Ritual

The feet are soothed and cleansed in an aromatic footbath with an essential oil blend of your choice before your therapist locates and massages specific acupressure points on the feet. After a zingy and energising foot scrub, feet are treated to a cooling and refreshing foot balm.

Your immune system will thank you, as this ancient therapy clears energy pathways to fortify and re-energise all twelve body systems. Based on holistic principles, this ancient therapy springs from the same Chinese roots as acupuncture.

The treatment will clear energy pathways and correct any imbalances in your body than can cause stress and ill health. If it worked for the Pharoahs……….You’ll be walking like an Egyptian!
