Telephone: 01386 852 711 Fax: 01386 858 636 ![]() Exciting news has reached the Dormy House Hotel with the achievement of a Fourth AA Star. The hotel, situated on top of the Cotswolds near Broadway was awarded its Fourth Star with an AA rating of 77% on 3rd November 2008. Pro-active greetings, impressive cleanliness and spaciousness were
just some of the factors that the AA inspectors cited as grounds for
the elevation of status for a hotel that “sets high standards for
the industry”. News of a fourth star was received enthusiastically by Mr Jørgen Philip-Sørensen, who has owned the Dormy House for over 30 years and believes exemplary service is everything. On receiving the news he said: “When you give good service you give something of yourself – your beliefs and your personality – and it gives me great satisfaction to do this well. There is only one thing better than a happy customer and that is a happy waiter or other member of staff because that assures good service which is of paramount importance”. The Dormy House country hotel, which literally sits on top of the Cotswolds from its position on Willersey Hill, also holds two Red Rosettes from the AA for its food offer and there are hopes in the future to gain a third Rosette.
